This will be a time for the gymnasts to learn how to slow down , connect to nature, to their breath, their heart, each other, and have fun! There will be team building activities, yoga, nature games, river play, journaling art and more. This day retreat includes a catered lunch, team building activities, breathing techniques, nature meditations, and personal growth tools.

Stephanie Kemp and Dina Rae Capitani are excited to bring their experience and knowledge to a group of young female gymnasts to to help them balance physical and emotional health.
Dina Rae Capitani is a professional pet caricature artist and creator of the adorable Doggie Doodles by Dina. She also is a musician, songwriter, retreat host and leader as well as a former elite gymnast and gymnastics coach. Dina graduated from Belmont University with a B.A. in Psychology and has studied the mind-body connection and the art of wellness for over 30 years. She has extensive training and experience in the practice of yoga, meditation, 12-step recovery, compassionate communication, team-building, community building and was a summer camp Nature Specialist where she developed her curriculum Mindful Adventures in Nature for kids of all ages. On her personal journey to wholeness she has come to recognize above all else the importance of cultivating joy and presence in one’s life. Dina is delighted to host and co-facilitate the Empowerment and Self-Care Retreat for female gymnasts as she will not only be connecting to young gymnasts but the young gymnast that still lives inside of her!
Stephanie Kemp is a personal trainer who has a background in Exercise physiology, Macrobiotics (food as medicine and prevention) and different alternative therapies which lead her to initiating multiple programs and retreats to combine all the practices together. Her goal is to bring a variety of incredible resources together to provide kids with the tools needed to create the most naturally balanced quality of life.
