Mother Earth whispered gently in my ear, " You have a right to BE HERE"
When I asked her what I could do for her, she very promptly replied, "I want you to see me, hear me, feel me, understand me and appreciate me for my beauty, sounds, textures and shapes are a mirror to your souls. I bring healing and strength to your body, wisdom to your mind and joy to your heart. My birds sing the sweetest of songs. My grass massages your tired feet. My trees shade and shelter you. My waters refresh and bathe you and are your very life. My flowers splash the world with color and and my delicate winged ones smile and dance in the wind that is my breath, filling the air with sweet fragrances in which you can delight. I, Mother Earth birthed you out of my own being and you are essentially a piece of me walking around. One day I will call you home to rest and you will come back into my bosom from whence you came. Until then, I want you to deeply know me, understand and appreciate me. I want you to experience the joy of being in my presence. By so doing you will come to deeply understand and appreciate the essence of who you are and know what it means to be fully alive."
And she added, “Like a woman preparing to meet her beloved, I am adorned with the most precious jewels and the finest of raiment. My beauty, wisdom, power is incomparable. When my beloved does not stop long enough to notice me, my heart breaks for the him and world.”
